I've been drifting by for years. With nothing to show for it but the dirt underneath my fingernails. I'm not the best example to set your life by, with a mind full of anxious land mines.
You don't know who I am. You don't know who I once was. You don't know where I've been. Nor do you know what I am capable of.

This could all be gone in an instant. I've both loved and lost. Don't speak to me about forgiveness. I've forgiven all that I forgot.

I wont just be another face lost in the crowd. I'm not another voice just singing along.
